CURE International signed a MoU in 2013 with the Dept. of Health, Govt. of Gujarat to start a state-level partnership program to eradicate disability caused by clubfoot . It is estimated that over 2500 children are born with clubfoot in Gujarat every year. Gujarat Government has provided State Nodal Office at Government (CL &SC) Spine Institute, Civil Hospital, and Ahmedabad to run the program. State Program Manager & Coordinator are sitting at the office & other District Coordinators are sitting at District Civil Hospital.
Since 2014, total 14 Clubfoot Clinics started at Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat, Bhavnagar, Rajkot, Jamnagar, Junagadh, Patan, Himmatnagar, Palanpur, Gandhinagar, Dahod, Valsad & Kutch Civil Hospitals. Up to date total 1500 children enrolled in the program.
