Since February 2003, Government Spine SInstitute implements a project with A Leg To Stand On, New York, with objective of transforming the lives of children below 18 years having disability related to limbs in Gujarat and the country.
Under the project, children are provided with customized prosthesis and orthosis to increase functional abilities to lead a normal life. To continue this initiative, Government Spine Institute has entered into MOU with Jivdaya Foundation which will support for systems related to database management and provision of human resource for next 3 years.
